At 12am, Farah picked me up from Farah Aisyah's house. She was driving the rental car that we will be using for the rest of our road trip. And my oh my, it was very attractive, obviously when its green and purple lol so bright ah. Farah's house is located a bit further from Grosvenor, specifically in Kingsford. A cute apartment that houses other Malaysian students. I was very tired from the whole day of traveling and sightseeing so I slept right after a few chit chat with other students there.
The day after is when our roadtrip officially begins. So ecstatic!
But first, we made a pit stop to UNSW, University of New South Wales, where Farah and other girls study. A short tour within the campus, it definitely felt way different tha UM. Everything is within a walking distance. Faculties are located quite closely together. And oh, it was their first week of semester, known as OWEEK, or Orientation Week.
And now, back on the road!
Our first stop was the Grand Canyon Walk, Blue Mountains. But on our way, there was a spot that overlooks the whole Blue Mountains known as the Lincoln's Rock. We had to drive in deeper along the houses there and it open to public. And the view? Not disappointing at all. The Blue Mountains is a must whenever you're in Sydney. If the weather was promising, you can get an absolute wonder of a view. It was just too amazing and everything was in the shades of blue. Its like the mountains are blending in with the sky.
Our Captain, Miss Farah Latep. Dia la driver, banker, mapper, semua benda la dia buat. Hebat tak?
Next stop, below.
The Grand Canyon Loop was closed and unaccessible until further notice. This was initially our first place to officially start the roadtrip, but then sadly it was closed. So we decided to check out the Evan's Lookout, which also provided with an amazing view.
From Evan's Lookout.
The Three Sisters Lookout. See the three rock tops there?
UNSW gals, Rasyidah and Farah Aisyah.
Iman in pink shawl and Munirah Izzah in Mustard/Yellow tudung, the AJK Makanan. My roadtrip members. Sooo fun to travel with. I miss them a lot now =(
And another 30 mins drive to our last stop for the day in the Wentworth Falls.
It.was.the.most.dreading.walk.EVERRRR. The time was already 630 and I was scared that we had to hike back up in dark, thankfully at 730 ish we reached back to the car park. The track to the Waterfall was so freaking steep. I was amazed by the efforts made in order to make the track easy.
This was only halfway and I was already huffing and puffing like maddd haha
Semua tengah penat ni sebenarnyooo lol
See what I mean? They must have invested a lot of money and energy in making these tracks.
But the view was legit awesome. Can't beat that.
Penat sangat jadi tak betul dah hahaha
It was really dangerous, but you can cling onto the handle bars, which was very hot -_-
Anddd....all those hardwork was totally paid off! The waterfall was like the hidden gem or something. It was breathtaking. There was a rainbow underneath the waterfall. It was beyond amazing mashAllah.
Absolutely phenomenal. The rainbowwww oh Allah it was so beautiful!
And when its time to go back up, everyone was dreading like mad. Nak nangis rasanya kena panjat balik the steep steps -_-
Want to know more on the place where we crash the night? Next post, part 3! InshaAllah.
