I think I had to blog this out. Im an avid follower of Pretty Little Liars, started like a year ago.
Now, its time for MERLIN! Well I started watching the series before I went to boarding school. It started airing on TV3 on Sunday nights if Im not mistaken and why? Because its British. Haha. You dont actually get to see British programs on local TV right..or is it just me eh. Other from that, I loved the history bits to it :D
Anyhoots, it was the seasons finale few hours ago! Anticipated for it, hoping for a well-fitted ending. Which it didnt turn out to be great and gave me a hard time to accept the fact that, that was it. I mean seriously, Merlin actually lives throughout the centuries, until I dont know probably 19th or 20th century. The indicator was simple. A blue truck passing along the road where beside it the Avalon river, the location where Arthur died and Merlin letting him go. Frankly speaking, the scene was extremely sad. I've watched a disney classic cartoon on Arthur and Merlin's adventure. Merlin is quite old, bearded and Arthur was a young boy who managed to pull the Excalibur sword out. Whereby in this series, Merlin potrays a young warlock/servant, and only appears old during the finale. I guess the friendship value of Merlin and Arthur stands out the most, I think thats the whole point of the story. But I still cant accept the ending. Its just. Oh God. I'll get over it soon enough -_-
And that was it. Arthur is...dead. Waaaa
I thought this was the best climax of finale T_T
Right now, I feel like finding a book or novel related to Arthurian legends since theres different versions to the story. But I dont think I can't.........Sad thing is, BBC wont be continuing the series to Season 6 eventhough the rating is high and every corner of the globe airs Merlin on TV.
Oh, my dad is a fond of Merlin too. Well he said it was better than American sitcoms or dramas lol.
Disney's version :
Meg Cabot defines my childhood reading apart from Charlotte Bronte, Jean Ure, R.L Stine and many more XD. Who doesnt love her books right? Btw from this book I had known a little knowledge of Camelot and stuff. Last time read it like..4-5 years ago! Courtesy of Manchester Mobile Library ;)
Believe it or not, theres a themepark named after Camelot known as Camelot Themepark -_- lol. I went there as a school trip, the tickets, not that expensive and located somewhere in Chorley, Lancashire, 1-2 hours drive from Manchester. I remember going on the rides with Aisyah Haziqah...just the two of us :")
It closed down btw last year due declining number of visitors.
Not to forget, it has lots of comedic moments XD
okay this is just adorable. I've found out that both actor Colin (Merlin) and Bradley (Arthur) became good friends when Merlin started...and they are hilarious together Lol. (after stalking a bunch of bloopers on youtube and some videos of them off set)
So I should sleep now. Get over this and start the day tomorrow like the usual days ;)
ps. Syafakillah to my mother who has been sick for 2 days. Temp high up to 38 degrees, no joke T_T get well soon Umi, insyaAllah.
